Planet Water Productions Ltd. (referred to in this document as we or us) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.    We want visitors to use our site and blog (within the parameters of our terms and conditions of use) with confidence, and this policy outlines how we will use information from visitors such as yourself. This policy, together with our terms of use (see on right) and our Parameters of Acceptable Use define the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be used by us. Please read it carefully, if you disagree with our policy please refrain from using our website and blog. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998, the data controller is Bill Orde of  Planet Water Productions Ltd. Any changes we may make to our privacy policy will be posted on this page. The date of the latest update (above) indicates whether visitors need to reread the page in order to be aware of any changes.



We may collect and process the following information about you:

1 information that you provide to us by email, phone, or via our blog that has relevance to us. This includes contact via email and posting material on our blog. We may also ask you for information if you report a problem with our sites;

2 if you contact us, we may keep a record of that communication, and

3 statistical information about your computer and details of your visits to our sites and the resources that you access from them (stat counting) see below.



To better understand how visitors view our site so that we can improve it, we may collect, and upon occasion view information from your visit, this includes information about your computer, including where available: your IP address, operating system and browser type, this assists system administration and allows us to study information about the popularity of our pages. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns provided by our server (Register.com View Privacy Policy) and we do not use it to identify any individual.


Cookies are Flash or HTML documents that websites store on your computer’s hard drive to communicate data from your computer to a particular server in order to do specific things such as remember your user name to facilitate log-in between visits and to . We don't use our own cookies at the moment, but we do use services provided by Vimeo.com  and Google’s Youtube,  third party service providers that help play videos on our site and Youtube Channel.  These service providers do deploy their own cookies.

The Vimeo player does use cookies in its normal operation, you can find out more about Vimeo’s use of cookies in their Privacy Policy.

Our Youtube Channel uses Google’s cookies to provide interaction with, and feedback about, the Channel’s users including visitors geographical location. You can learn more about Google’s privacy policy by clicking here.

Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies if you wish via the browser’s respective preferences settings. (For example, in Internet Explorer you can refuse all cookies by clicking “Tools”, “Internet Options”, “Privacy”, and selecting “Block all cookies”).  Please note, though, that if you select this setting it may affect your access to certain parts of the internet, possibly including pages of our website, Bill’s Vimeo page and the Planetwater.tv Youtube channel pages and video embeds.

Furthermore, please note that if we ever use advertising on our site or blog, our advertisers and other third party contributors may also use cookies from their own sites, and links to their privacy policies will be posted on their own sites. If we do place advertisements from third party organisations on this website, we will identify the third parties here and provide links to their Privacy policies.

We can see viewer statistics of  our promo film on our Vimeo page and visitor statistics include numbers of visitors and the geographical location of visitors.

You may choose to use this or any other website without allowing storage of Cookies by selecting to block your browser’s acceptance of Cookies via your browser’s preference settings if you wish. We may in the future, use Statcounter.com Cookies for our website. Statcounter.com generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users' computers.  The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of the website, and we may store the reports on our computers and share the aggregated figures with select third parties or via a visible “Hit Counter”. Stacounter.com would store this information.

We will only use personal data submitted to planetwater.tv, Vimeo and Youtube  for the purposes specified in this privacy policy or in relevant parts of the website, and the blog will be governed  by its own privacy policy.

Personal and other information that you submit for publication on the blog, Vimeo and Youtube will be published on the Internet, may be subject to moderation and may be available, via the Internet, around the world. Your use of our blog signifies that you expressly agree to such transfers of personal information that you, yourself, make.

 Emails to Bill Orde will pass beyond the borders of the United Kingdom and may travel through countries with laxer privacy and security laws than our own. They will be stored on a US server.

We will not view your personal information from this website and blog in any other form than visitors' statistics, any communications that you might make to us though email, and/or as comments on interactive areas of Vimeo, Youtube and blog.

All electronic communications by you to us are voluntary upon your part and made entirely at your own risk.

As data transmission over the Internet is inherently insecure, and as we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the Internet , you are advised not to submit sensitive information to this website, our Vimeo and Youtube pages and blog or via email.

We will not provide your personal information to any third parties for the purpose of direct marketing without your consent.



As well as any disclosure of your information that may be reasonably necessary for the purposes identified elsewhere in this privacy policy, we may also disclose information about you:

(a) in any instances that we are required to do so by law;

(b) in association with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings; and/or

(c) if deemed necessary to defend our legal rights

Except as provided in this privacy policy, we will not provide your information to third parties.

The Data Protection Act 1998  gives you the right to access any information about you that we may hold. Your access request may be subject to a fee of £15 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information that we hold about you. In addition we would require proof of your identity.

The Data Controller and Broadcast Marketing Ltd. will not be liable if for any reason these sites are unavailable at any time or for any period. Server downtime is a reality that we must occasionally tolerate.

We don’t currently have interactive service on this site.
